A person has been arrested for making troll videos by editing photos of the President and Prime Minister on Tik Tok. The Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police has arrested a person who created TikTok using photos of the President and Prime Minister.
Jhapa-based Mechinagar Municipality ward no. Somprasad Ghimire of 6 was arrested.
According to the Cyber Bureau, he was arrested with the help of the District Police Office Jhapa after obtaining an arrest permit from the Kathmandu District Court for an offense under the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063.
According to the bureau, the investigation is being conducted on Ghimire with an extension of 7 days by the order of the district court in Kathmandu.
