Pinterest has added augmented reality to the app for furniture shopping. The app has extended the try on feature for home furniture.
The company is providing services of more than 20,000 products by collaborating with major retailers such as Wayfair, Crate and Barrel, Macy’s and Target.
Pinterest had previously provided a try on feature for beauty products. Due to this feature, users can check the furniture virtually and buy it.
The app also suggests products to you based on the previously searched content.
As most people come to Pinterest to design their homes, Pinterest has added the feature of Augmented Reality to the app to make it more convenient.
