Brazil has banned the popular social network Telegram. Telegram has been banned in Brazil for spreading false information.

Brazil’s Supreme Court on Saturday ordered its telecom regulator Anatel to ban Telegram within 24 hours.

The court also ordered Google and Apple to remove Telegram from their app stores within five days. If you don’t do that, you have to pay 20,000 dollars per day.

Pavel Durov, CEO of Telegram, has apologized for this. Also, he requested to delay the implementation of the decision and give a chance to solve the problem.
