Clubhouse has removed private information from Afghanistan accounts to protect users. Just a few days ago, Facebook also introduced a facility to lock accounts for users in Afghanistan. Clubhouse informed about this through Twitter.

The company has changed the user’s privacy settings. This change is especially for those who are not very active in the app.

Clubhouse is hiding the photo and bio which makes it difficult to find the account. But if users want to make the account visible, that can be done.

The app also said that such features will not decrease the followers of users. The app also asks users not to use real names.

It is hoped that this will increase the privacy of users. After the Taliban took over Kabul, Afghanistan, companies boosted privacy features.
