Compulsory cyber security testing, such as the draft of a new cyber security policy

The government has drafted the National Cyber ​​Security Policy 2078. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has requested the stakeholders to give their opinion, suggestions and support on the draft National Cyber ​​Security Policy 2078.

Addressing cyber risks, the draft has been formulated with a long-term vision to create a reliable, secure and flexible cyberspace for individuals, businesses and the government.

The goal of the policy is to build reliable, secure and flexible cyberspace within the next three years, and to establish institutional and organizational infrastructure for the construction of reliable, secure and flexible cyberspace within the next five years.

Similarly, the aim is to minimize cyber risk, increase public awareness and produce skilled manpower, and cooperate with the international and national community to reduce the risk.

The policy strategy includes strengthening and securing technology, infrastructure and procedures to strengthen cyber security, producing skilled manpower, raising public awareness, and creating a secure online space.

The policy strategy includes the provision of periodic cyber security checks to private and public bodies collecting, processing, using and storing sensitive data of citizens, and measures to be taken for security of online identity and data.

Digital infrastructure will be developed to implement the standards required for quality software development, to exchange up-to-date information on cyber security related attacks.

Cyber ​​security related topics will be included in the school curriculum.

It has been mentioned that arrangements will be made to make the use of electronic signature mandatory in the applications and emails of government bodies.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has requested the stakeholders to give their opinion, suggestions and support on the draft National Cyber ​​Security Policy 2078. Opinions and suggestions on the draft can be given till May 10.
