European vaccine data stolen by hackers

Russian and Chinese hackers are thought to have stolen European vaccine data. According to a Reuters report, both Russia and China launched a cyber attack on the European Medicines Agency in December.

It is alleged that the hackers also stole vaccine documents and treatment. Russian hackers have reportedly had access to the vaccine system for up to a month.

It is said that the hackers got information about where the Pfizer / Bioentech vaccine is sold in a month.

Chinese hackers launched the attack in early 2020, and Russia hacked it shortly thereafter.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) said in December that there was a breach in its system, but did not say who did it. The EMA said it was investigating.
