Fixed a bug where the mic would remain active even after a Zoom call ended on Mac

Zoom has fixed a bug where the mic would remain active even after the call ended on a Mac computer. This feature has been resolved as soon as possible as it may cause problems for the user’s privacy.

Zoom was found to be controlling users’ mics. Fixed the issue in version 5.9.3 of Zoom for Mac.

Zoom’s attention has been drawn to this issue after many users revealed the problem that the mic keeps showing the orange indicator even after the meeting or webinar is live.

Zoom also had to pay $85 million in a 2021 privacy lawsuit.
