Google’s Google Docs feature has become a fertile ground for hackers. The campaign, a checkpoint company, has discovered that hackers are abusing Google Docs’ comment feature. Hackers are specifically targeting Outlook users.

If you get a notification that someone has mentioned you in a Google Docs comment, be very careful. By abusing this comment feature, attackers deliver phishing links.

Last October, it was reported that hackers could send malicious links using Google apps like Docs and Slides. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a crowd of about 500.

Many are vulnerable to this attack because e-mails in the inbox do not show the sender’s email address. Many hackers are interested in this medium as it can only be done by manning at the rate without even sharing the document.
