IMPE customers will get cashback up to 10% or more up to 100 rupees when they pay with phonep’s QR code through IMEPCO mobile app.

An agreement has been reached to provide this kind of facility to the customers of PhonePay and IMPay, the leading payment system operators in Nepal.

The agreement was signed between IMPE CEO Amod Bhattarai and Business Development Head Rushant Shrestha on behalf of PhonePay. This scheme will be operated from 7th October to 14th October.

This plan has been introduced with the aim of making shopping easier during Dashain, the great festival of Nepali people. Phonepay has been running various schemes targeting its merchants and users.

Payment can be made easily through QR from any bank and financial institution connected to the PhonePay network and mobile apps of various payment service providers. 60 banks and financial institutions and payment system operators are affiliated to the PhonePay network.

Similarly, there are about 1 million merchants on PhonePay so far. Phonepay has been serving more than 15 million mobile banking users and payment system service providers through mobile apps.

Various types of payments and shopping can be done through the payment service provider IMPay. Mobile recharge, electricity, water charges and many other services can be paid and purchased through Khalti.
