Instagram has started testing the creator subscription feature. This has opened up a new way for Instagram creators to earn money.

Creators will be able to make stories and livestreams only for subscribed users. Instagram puts a purple circle on subscriber-only content to differentiate it. The head of Instagram, Adam Moseri, informed about this by tweeting on Twitter.

Subscribers will also get a purple patch next to their name so that content creators can pay more attention to their subscribers. For now, this feature is only available in the US.
