LinkedIn is going to shut down its Stories feature after a year. The company is going to close this feature by the end of September 2022.

It is said that the post which is deleted in 24 hours is not suitable for all social networks. According to LinkedIn, this feature has been removed because the app’s users want content that stays on their profile forever.

The company introduced this feature targeting those who want to keep some informal content on LinkedIn, but after the failure of the story feature in the app, this feature is about to be removed. The company says that users prefer to use the tools in the story.

For this reason, some of the creative tools of the story can be used in the business video made for the profile. Seeing the success of stories in apps like Snapchat, Instagram, many other apps made this feature available.

Although this feature was successful in apps like YouTube and Facebook, Twitter closed the story feature called Fleet nine months after it was released.
