Long notes can now be written on Twitter, dropping the 280-word limit

Now you can write long notes on Twitter. For this, Twitter is testing the ‘Notes’ feature.

It will allow users to share their articles on Twitter. So far, there is a 280 word character limit on Twitter, but if the Notes feature is released, more than 280 characters can be written.

Until now, people have been sharing screenshots of long texts, so Twitter has introduced this feature. This feature is being tested in Canada, Ghana, UK and US. Twitter thinks that this will keep users on the app for a long time.

As users will take longer to read long texts, the time spent using the app will also increase. This feature will be in testing phase for two months.
