The messaging and calling feature of Snapchat has also been released in the web version. This company has released a new browser-based version of its service.

Snapchat Plus subscribers will initially get access to the new web app. Gradually the web version will also be available for all users.

Although it only supports messaging and calling features for now, the app has decided to release augmented reality and photo video snapping features soon.

In the web version, the notification of the screenshot taken by the keyboard shortcut will also go. The company has a feature called privacy screen which will block the user’s content when going to another screen.

There is a chance that this version can add more features to the app. The trend of making video calls from Snapchat seems to be increasing at present and following the same trend, the calling feature has been released initially in the web version.
