Microsoft will provide updates on Microsoft’s Surface Duo 2 for 3 years. The company has clarified this by publishing a press release on Android Authority. Although the same update was promised in the Surface Duo, the first generation Surface Duo is still running Android 10.

Microsoft has said it will update the Surface Duo to Android 11 by the end of this year.

Since the Surface Duo 2 will come with Android 11, there will be a curiosity as to when Android 12 will come.

This week, Microsoft unveiled some new Surface computers and the Surface Duo 2 at Surface’s hardware announcement program.

The Surface Duo 2 comes with triple camera setoff, updated battery, new display, faster chipset and overall improvement in dual screen hardware.

In addition, the device has NFC and curved edge on the screen through which notifications and time can be seen even when the device is off.
