More than 16 billion has been transacted through mobile wallet in one month. According to the data of Nepal Rastra Bank, 16 billion 276 million transactions were made through digital wallets in the month of January.

16 billion 276 million transactions were made out of 1337 million 12 thousand 206 transactions. In November, there were 15 billion 528 million transactions out of 13 million 30 thousand 804 transactions.

Both transactions and the number of transactions through wallets have increased in January compared to November. Recently, with the government giving priority to digital payments, digital payment penetration is increasing.
