Nepal Bank’s digital banking literacy campaign completed

Nepal Bank Limited has completed digital banking financial literacy program at Bhimdatta Municipality, Amity College, Mahendranagar and Sudurpaschim University Central Campus Mahendranagar in Kanchanpur District under Sudurpaschim Province on Wednesday.

These programs were organized at the initiative of Nepal Bank Sudurpaschim Pradesh at Amity College and Sudurpaschim University central campus in Mahendranagar in Bhimdatta Municipality of Kanchanpur District of Sudurpaschim Province and Pokhara University to inform all sections of the society about digital banking and to accustom them to digital banking techniques and also to increase financial access. was

Maheshraj Joshi, Manager of Mahendranagar branch of Nepal Bank gave a presentation on digital banking financial literacy. Inaugurating the program, Mayor Surendra Bista said that since the concept of cashless economy is developing, common citizens should also be financially literate.

125 local people participated in the program. Similarly, 80 students participated in the program conducted at Amity College Mahendranagar in which principal Rabindra Awasthi, college board member Dr. Naredra Bahadur Chand and bank’s Far West Province head Janak Prasad Subedi were present.

In the program conducted at Sudurpaschim University Central Campus Mahendranagar, Dean of Sudurpaschim University Management Faculty Prof. Dr. Padmaraj Joshi and Head of Department of Sudurpaschim University Management Department Shankar Dutt Bhatt were present.

Dean Joshi has expressed his gratitude for giving financial awareness to BBA students through the program. 92 students participated in the program.
