Nepal’s own payment card will be introduced. Releasing the monetary policy for the financial year 2078/79 on Friday, the National Bank said that Nepal will use its own payment card.
It is said in the policy, ‘The work of establishing a national payment switch will be completed to bring Nepal’s own payment card into use.’
The switch installation will be completed to streamline and document the payment transactions within Nepal while maintaining interoperability between electronic payment devices.
