Pocket has joined PhonePay, now payments can be made by scanning PhonePay’s QR code

Pocket Digital Wallet has been added to PhonePay. Along with this, it is now possible to pay by scanning PhonePay’s QR code from the pocket.

An agreement was reached between Phonepay and Khalti for a program held at MNS Tower on Monday. Divas Sapkota, assistant CEO of Phonepay and Vinay Khadka, CEO of Khalti, signed the agreement.

Earlier, there was no facility for users of Khalti to pay by scanning PhonePe’s QR code. But now with this agreement, payment can be made by scanning the QR code of PhonePe in various shops, religious places, hotels, restaurants and other areas.

There are more than 570,000 merchants on PhonePay so far. Phonepay has affiliates of payment service providers like Iseva, IME Pay and CellPay. Now a pocket has also been added to it.
