Ransomware attack on Toshiba unit in Europe, threatening to leak data if not paid

In Europe, the Toshiba unit (6502.T) has been hacked by ransomware. Toshiba Tech Corp says only a small number of hackers have succeeded in stealing work data. Toshiba Tech Corp has accused the US FBI of hacking Darkside.

Ryansamware has demanded money in cryptocurrency. It is estimated that ransomware will continue to leak data until the money is paid. Russian hackers are also said to be involved.

Many Darkside websites have been down since the hack. For some time now, ransomware attacks have been on the rise.
