Testing a chronological feed Instagram

Instagram has resumed testing chronological feeds. Now users can choose the option of chronological feed in the app. The company has been working on this feature for months, said Adam Moseri, the head of Instagram.

It has two types of feed called Favorites and Following. According to Moseri, now the user will be given options that can be switched by toggle in three feeds such as Home, Favorites and Following.

Recently, Instagram has started checking the feature called suggested post by showing posts of unfollowed accounts. It also makes it easier for you to find new account posts.

When Instagram introduced a chronological feed in 2016, many users complained that they could not see other people’s posts.

This time, we have to evaluate what changes Instagram will bring. For now, the company said that the chronological feed will not be given to many users initially.
