The feasibility of digital currency will be explored, now from loan application to approval online

Nepal Rastra Bank is going to study the potential of digital currency. Releasing the monetary policy for the fiscal year 2078/79 on Friday, Rastra Bank said that it will study the possibility of central bank electronic currency.

It is said in the policy, ‘In the context of studying the use and feasibility of electronic currency in the world, the feasibility of central bank electronic currency will be studied in Nepal as well.’

Similarly, the National Bank has said that digital loan guidance will be formulated and implemented to facilitate the process from loan application to approval in banks and financial institutions for electronic arrangements.
