The Nepal government will establish a fully digital bank

The Nepal government is planning to set up a fully digital bank. This was stated by Finance Minister Janardan Sharma while presenting the budget for the coming fiscal year 2079/080 in the federal parliament on Sunday.

Sharma announced that necessary arrangements would be made to establish a fully digital bank. To make the payment system secure, financial transactions of modern instruments will be made secure based on electronic system.

He also said that all types of government payments will be based on electronic system.
