The second dose of Veracell is being given in Kathmandu from today

Citizens who have taken the first dose of Verosel against Covid-19 in Kathmandu have been given the second dose from Friday.

According to Badri Bahadur Khadka, Chief of the Health Office, Kathmandu, the second dose has been given to the citizens who have taken the first dose of Verosel from July 30.

He said that the first dose of the three-day vaccination campaign will be given to the citizens in the age group of 50 years and above.

Similarly, university professors and school teachers and staff, public transport drivers, co-drivers, people working in the emergency services prescribed by the Government of Nepal, Nepali citizens going to countries where vaccination has been made compulsory and citizens who have missed the second dose of Verosel before will be vaccinated, he said.

He said that the citizens who go for vaccination will be vaccinated on the basis of the first dose vaccine card and electronic registration number with print or photo.
