Those testing the Windows 11 beta version can now install Android apps from the Microsoft Store. The feature comes just months after Microsoft promised Windows 11 to support the Android app.
Windows 11 beta testers will be able to test Android apps on computers based on AMD, Intel and Qualcomm. Microsoft claims that the experience of running Android apps and games on Windows 11 is familiar. According to the company, users can use the new Snap layout feature while playing games and pin them to the Storm menu.
In addition, Android apps are also integrated in the Alt + tab, so you can switch from one app to another via the shortcut button. Earlier, Microsoft had provided 50 apps for beta testers in Windows 11 under the Windows Insider program.
The apps included games such as Lord’s Mobile, Joan’s Journey, and Coin Master, as well as apps such as the Kindle Khan Academy Kids and Lego Duplo World. There are currently 35 million apps available for Windows 11 Beta Tester, compared to Google Play Store. But the Amazon App Store is said to be a bridge to enable Android app support in Windows 11.
