Tinder is testing a feature that helps your friend pick a date

Dating app Tinder is testing a feature that will let your friends help you pick a date. The app has named this feature Swipe Party. Swipe Party needs to be given access to the phone’s camera and microphone so that the user’s friends can also select the date and hear what they are talking about.

Until now, people used to sit with their friends and decide which person would be best, but this feature is being tested so that it is also suitable for friends who are far away.

Tinder believes that this virtual experience can attract more users. This feature is already available on Apple’s Shareplay, Prime Video, Digi Plus and Hulu.
