Twitter is testing a feature on the web version that allows users to remove followers without blocking them. The company believes that this feature will help reduce online harassment.

Without notification from the feed of the follower you removed, none of your posts will appear in that user’s feed. It will protect users from online threats to a great extent.

The company has not said anything about when this feature will come officially. This feature will be introduced to increase the privacy of users.

A few days ago, Twitter was also checking tweet archiving and safety mode. As the rate of harassment on social media is increasing, the app is making every effort to reduce it.
