Twitter testing new ‘Safety Mode’ feature to prevent harassment

Twitter is testing a new ‘Safety Mode’ feature to prevent harassment. This feature will automatically block accounts that use unethical language.

This feature was previewed by the company in February. For now, the app is making this feature available to a small group for feedback.

According to Twitter, this system will not block the accounts you are interacting with and the accounts you know and will pay special attention to trolls. This feature temporarily blocks an account for seven days.

This system analyzes the content of the tweet and the relationship between the tweeter and another account. It is believed that this will save many users from harassment. As there may be some problems with the feature at the initial stage, users can also remove autoblock by themselves.
