WhatsApp makes web chat even more secure by releasing a new web browser extension

Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, has released a web browser extension called Code Verify. WhatsApp’s new web browser extension makes web chat even more secure.

This will make it more difficult for hackers to breach data. According to WhatsApp, since this extension was made public, the number of WhatsApp web users has increased.

After everything is set up, the extension will provide information like a traffic light. Meta has also published the source code on GitHub for code verification.

This extension also works to make the end-to-end encryption service even more secure.
