Nepal Telecom Authority has demanded an international consultant for the construction of cyber security system. The authority issued a notice on Monday seeking a letter of intent from an international consultant to evaluate the cyber security system and prepare a detailed report.

Interested consultants can submit letter of intent by January 10. Documents for the letter of intent can be obtained from the Nepal Telecommunication Authority’s office, website and bids.gov.np.

The letter of intent will be evaluated on the basis of 40 percent qualification, 50 percent experience and 10 percent ability.

A minimum of 60 marks is required to pass the letter of intent. The Authority is building a cyber security system for international internet gateways and national network security.
