While the transactions of various means of digital payment are increasing in the country, internet banking transactions have decreased.

In June, the last month of the last fiscal year 2077/78, the transaction amount through internet banking was 13.83 billion 2.2 million rupees. Whereas in June of the previous year, such transactions were 19 billion 48 million rupees.

In this way, the amount of internet banking transactions has decreased by 27 percent this year. In the last year, except for a few months, Internet banking transactions have been increasing, but they have not been able to meet the previous year’s transactions.
