Year-on-year increase in mobile wallet transactions, 12.8 billion payments in June

Although mobile wallets have been struggling with digital payments, their business growth has been modest in the last financial year.

In the last financial year, they have increased their turnover by 25 percent. According to the financial statement of the last financial year published by Nepal Rasht Bank, the turnover of mobile wallet in the last month of June reached 12.79 billion rupees. This is the most in the last financial year.

This amount is 25 percent more than the same time last year. In June of the previous year, the transaction through wallet was 10 billion 22 million rupees.

In the first month of the last financial year, the turnover was 7.57 billion 9 million rupees, and in the last month it reached 12.79 billion rupees.
