You can no longer see the number of dislikes on YouTube videos. The company has announced that Dislight account will be kept private.

YouTube will make the number of dislikes private and the button has not been removed. This means that any video can be disliked, but the number of dislikes will not be visible. YouTube creators can see the dislike count from YouTube Studio, the company has informed.

YouTube has started to make the dislike count private. Now, after seeing the number of dislikes on the video, gradually the number of dislikes on all videos will be private.

YouTube started making this arrangement after the group that disagreed with the content started disliking it in a planned manner. The company says that this has discouraged the creators.
